To ensure full representation at the IFLA-APR Annual General Meeting 2024, we kindly request the attendance and participation of all member association delegates. Each member association is invited to appoint a delegate to attend this important meeting. Please confirm your attendance by completing the DECLARATION and PROXY FORM​ (Please note that the submission must be made by the Association President or with their full knowledge and approval. This ensures that the appointed delegate or proxy represents the association's interests, and all decisions are made with leadership's full awareness and support).

Confirm Your Attendance

Kindly confirm your attendance by submitting the completed DECLARATION and PROXY FORM​ through Google Forms by Wednesday, October 30th, 2024.

In-person: Up to 3 observers may attend the meeting physically in Singapore.

Virtual: An unlimited number of observers can join via Zoom.

To register as an observer, please visit the ticketing page and select the appropriate pass:

• Observers (Physical) for in-person attendance in Singapore
• Observers (Virtual) for those joining via Zoom

Non-member observers are also welcome to join virtually via Zoom by selecting the "Non-Members Observers" ticket on the form.

Note: We strongly encourage your PPP Representative to attend in person as an observer, as we are hosting a forum where they are a target participant. Alternatively, someone in a similar role within your national society, involved in key areas such as climate change, sustainability, and professional standards in landscape architecture, would also be suitable.

Hosts and Committee Chairs Reports

• Hosts: Delegates representing future IFLA APR Congress or Annual General Meeting hosts are encouraged to provide a short update.
• Committee Chairs: We request Committee Chairs to submit reports outlining objectives from the past year, accomplishments, and goals for the next 12 months.

Delegates who wish to propose agenda items must submit their requests in writing to the secretariat at ifla.apr@mci-group.com and cc Hon Secretary at cdsnadal@gmail.com, by Wednesday, October 30th, 2024.



• Read All Reports: Please read all reports and documents before the AGM. These can be found under the Document Tab and will be updated continuously until November 8th, 2024.
• Treasurer's Report: This report will be emailed directly to all official delegates. If you need to access it before the meeting, please contact the IFLA-APR secretariat at ifla.apr@mci-group.com.
• AGM Conduct & Protocols: A detailed communication with the rules of conduct and protocols will be sent prior to the meeting.
• Zoom Meeting Link: The Zoom link for the virtual AGM will be sent out 2-3 days before the event. This link is confidential, and only registered members may access it. Observers and non-delegates must register through the event page. Note that observers and non-delegates will not have speaking or voting rights at the AGM. If you have any questions, please submit them through your official delegate by Wednesday, October 30th, 2024.

The Professional Practice and Policy Forum 2024, titled "Future of Landscape Architecture: Setting the Foundations for Resilient Landscapes and Communities," is designed to drive the profession toward a sustainable and inclusive future. Taking place on November 14 in Singapore, this forum will bring together thought leaders and professionals to discuss strategies for addressing climate change, urban mobility, and the enhancement of professional standards.

The event is aimed at landscape architects, policymakers, environmental organizations, and professional bodies dedicated to promoting sustainability and improving professional standards within the landscape architecture field. Attendance is limited to official delegates of IFLA APR Member Associations/National Societies who will be present at the Annual General Meeting, as well as the professional practice and policy representatives from those organizations.

Registration and confirmation are required through the DECLARATION and PROXY FORM​ sent to all official delegates. If you are not an official delegate or PPP representative of your Member Association/National Society but wish to attend, please contact us at ifla.apr@mci-group.com.
