Sandino M. Guinto is a licensed landscape architect with extensive experience on participatory community design, sustainable agroforestry, and social enterprise development. Has 4 years experience as a Permaculture designer & trainer working with rural communities and local governments on developing their agro-forestry inspired site development plans. He also has 3 years experience in managing a social enterprise that deals with waste recycling, clean cookstoves, and urban gardening. He is currently employed as a landscape architect in the Camarines Norte State College
Shashank Mittal trained as an interior designer at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Over the past decade, he has since worked in various social design contexts in India, blending this training in design with his passion for grassroots development work. He currently works with Community Design Agency in Mumbai, where he leads Partnerships and Development.
At CDA, he has been part of the team that is piloting a ground-up slum redevelopment housing project near Mumbai, that is based on a unique participatory design and planning process.
He has previously worked on initiatives for alternate livelihoods and women's empowerment in rural parts of Central India.
Shashank is also an alumni of the prestigious Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University in India and an Acumen India Fellow 2023.
