Alexa Brillantes Bello is an Assistant Professor in the University of the Philippines College of Architecture under the Environmental Landscapes Studio Laboratory, a landscape architect, and a sustainability consultant specializing in Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design or LEED. Some of her projects have been for UnionBank of the Philippines, MetroPacific Tollway Company, and Araneta City. She also holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Sustainable Design from the National University of Singapore.

She is also a research fellow for the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) Graduate School of Public and Development Management (GSPDM) under their Sustainable Development Goals and Futures Thinking research program. She was also President of the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects (PALA) from 2022 to 2023. Her work experience in these overlapping industries has pushed her to promote the importance of landscape architecture in the sustainability of the built environment.

Julie Marin navigates public, private and academic realms as designer, researcher, project leader and stakeholder connector. Trained as architectural engineer and urban designer, she develops inter-and transdisciplinary urban design strategies for place based circular economy transitions at KU Leuven’s research group Urbanism and Architecture. She practiced urban landscape design at Scape Landscape Architecture in New York City, as well as research and teaching in Antwerp, Leuven and New York.

Holding degrees in planning, architecture, and a master's in landscape architecture from the University of Melbourne, plus executive education from Cambridge University, his career spans over 20 years, mainly in Singapore's public service.

Damian is recognized for his contributions to sustainable design and urban planning, earning numerous awards, including the Public Administration Medal conferred by the President of Singapore. Currently he is the Chairman of the Circular Cities Summit and the IFLA Asia Pacific Advisory Board, promoting innovative, sustainable urban living solutions. At URDX Studio, he focuses on neuroscience design to enhance social well-being, while Circular Cities Worldwide advances the development of circular economies in urban areas. Damian's work exemplifies his commitment to creating healthier, sustainable urban environments.
