Welcome to the April Edition of IFLA APR's Newsletter!

In case you missed it, catch IFLA APR's President Mr. Fumiaki Takano in Channel News Asia's documentary, "Let the children play", as he explores the role and diversity of playgrounds within our societies today. In this edition, Resident writer Crystal Cheng makes her case for GIS proficiency, and JLAU Delegate Kiyohito Tamotsu, shares about the importance of transitional housing in helping affected communities rebuild their lives in the aftermath of natural disasters.

This past month, we also sat down to find out more about the National University of Singapore's renowned Landscape Architecture programmes, and gained inspiration from the talented team at Archive Landscape through some of their intricate design projects.
