Presidential Roundtable Meeting Sets the Course for Circular Cities Network's Future |
| The Circular Cities Network (CCN) leaders met in Slovenia from June 24-26 to refine their strategic vision and enhance collaboration across regions and professions.
During the meeting, they announced the CCN Academy to develop future leaders in circular city practices and the Circular Cities Summit 2.0 will be held in Dubai on 11 September 2024, featuring global experts and policymakers. |

2024 IFLA APR Election Updates and November Event Highlights |
| We are pleased to announce that nominations for the 2024 IFLA APR Election have closed. The positions up for election are Treasurer, Education & Academic Affairs Chair, and Professional Practice & Policy Chair. Voting slips will be distributed to all IFLA APR member associations soon, and the winners will be announced at the IFLA APR Regional Council Meeting on 14 November in Singapore.
On the same day, there will be a PPP Workshop Forum organized by the IFLA APR PPP Committee (a separate email with final details will be sent in August). The IFLA APR Gala Dinner will follow on 15 November, where the AAPME Awards 2024 winners will be revealed. Additionally, a special site tour is scheduled for 16 November.
Please note, the Regional Council Meeting and PPP Workshop Forum are invite-only. If you wish to attend as observers, contact your national associations. Registration for the Gala Dinner and site tour will open to the public soon. Stay tuned for updates. |

Updates on IFLA-APR AAPME Awards 2024 |
| We’re thrilled to report that the IFLA-APR AAPME Awards 2024 has garnered 337 submissions from 15 countries, covering 10 categories. We deeply appreciate the time and effort of everyone who contributed their remarkable work.
The judging phase will take place from July 20th to August 23rd. We look forward to reviewing the diverse and innovative entries and will keep you informed on the progress. Thank you for your participation and dedication! |
