To start the year, we are pleased to announce that the IFLA AAPME Awards 2022 will be held at the IFLA World Congress GwangJu 2022 happening from Aug 31 - Sep 2. Call for submissions for both events are now open, so check out the criteria and guidelines and prepare your project submissions! With studios in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Ho Chi Minh City and Dubai and over 200 staff, ASPECT Studios share with us some of their notable projects with emphasis on people's utility and experiences in public spaces. | IFLA AAPME Awards 2022 Call for Submissions |
| The IFLA AAPME Awards 2022 will be held at the 58th IFLA World Congress in GwangJu, Korea (subject to change under the current pandemic situation) and Call for submissions is now open! This year's theme "Climate Crisis Design" continues to call for climate actions and our response in climate crisis design.
This award is open to all IFLA regions and practitioners around the world for projects within the Africa, Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Position yourself among the best landscape architects that the region has to offer and gain a competitive edge through the recognition of your project in the IFLA AAPME Awards. We are really excited to receive your submissions, so don't miss the deadline on March 15!

| IFLA World Congress Gwangju 2022 Call for Abstracts |
| The 58th IFLA World Congress will be held in Gwangju, Korea from Aug 31 - Sep 2 2022! With the theme Re:Public Landscape,the congress aims to re:visit professional and academic achievements to date, re:shape the earth through emerging discourse and technologies, re:vive everyday lives to healthier and more vibrant ways, and finally re:connect to nature.
The congress has issued a call for abstracts on the conference theme with options for oral or poster presentation. Share your ideas and visions before the abstract submission deadline on February 28.

The Hong Kong 2022 International Urban Forestry Conference “Well-being: Our Urban Forest ● Our Community”, organised by Development Bureau, will be held on March 2 - 4, 2022.
The conference topics on urban forestry’s relationship with infrastructure planning and design, wellness and health of people, and its sustainable management will be explored. The sub-theme of the four plenary sessions are: - Well-being Cities
