Call For Nominations
Nominations are now open for candidates to stand for the 2023 IFLA APR Elections! The Election Round Results Verification will be held in conjunction with the 2023 Annual General Meeting at the 2023 IFLA APR Regional Congress in Tokyo, Japan on 15th November, 2023.
Please find below a link to the letter from IFLA APR Honorary Secretary Chris Tidswell launching the call for nominations, along with the Nomination Form and the Written Consent Form. All national association delegates have been sent this information as required by the IFLA APR Constitution, but we wanted to highlight the opportunity to a wider audience to contribute to the running of our regional branch of IFLA.
If you are a potential and eligible candidate, we encourage you to contact your delegate and advise them of your interest. This is because only delegates and Exco members are permitted to submit nomination forms. The delegates are aware that the Nomination Form, Written Consent Form, 500-word manifesto, brief biography, and passport photo must be submitted to the IFLA APR Secretariat via email (ifla.apr@mci-group.com) by 17th June 2023, 1800hrs (GMT+8).
