Here’s what’s happening in the landscape architecture community: 🔹 CHSLA Competency Assessment – CHSLA welcomes international collaboration to further engineering talent development worldwide. Since 2023, the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture (CHSLA) has been conducting competency assessments for landscape architecture engineers to enhance professional standards and facilitate international recognition.
🔹 IFLA x FutureScape Global – IFLA has teamed up with FutureScape Global to participate in Saudi Arabia's premier event focused on the future of landscaping and public space design, happening on 28-29 April 2025 at The Arena Riyadh.
🔹 IFLA Asia-Pacific LA Awards 2025 – Returning with refreshed categories to celebrate excellence in landscape architecture. Mark your calendars - Registration opens 14 April 2025!

| Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture (CHSLA) promotes the competency assessment for engineers working in landscape architecture |
| The Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture (CHSLA) has been conducting competency assessments for landscape architecture engineers since 2023, aiming to strengthen professional standards and facilitate international qualification recognition. Under the guidance of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), the assessment follows global benchmarks, evaluating candidates on engineering knowledge, ethics, teamwork, continuous learning, and leadership.
As of January 2025, 134 engineers have been certified. CHSLA welcomes international collaboration to further engineering talent development worldwide. |
