Rizamay Sta. Teresa Basing holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman, which she obtained in 2003. She has been a licensed Landscape Architect since 2006. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Department Head of the City General Services Office within the City Government of Zamboanga. In addition to her regular duties within this department, she also assists the Office of the City Engineer in the

preparation of project proposals for parks, gardens, plazas, and other recreational areas, including the Children’s Park for schools.

Notably, she played a key role in the Redevelopment of the Zamboanga City Waterfront and Heritage Walk, a project approved by the city as part of the Green,Green,Green/ Development of Public Open Spaces Program of the Department of Budget Management (LGSF-AF FY 2018). This project was turned over to the city in 2020, and another GGG Program project, the Redevelopment of the Zamboanga City Sunken Garden, was completed in June 2024.

She is also an Executive Council Member of the National Commission for the Culture and Arts (NCCA) committee, the National Committee on Architecture and Allied Arts (NCAAA), as Western Mindanao Representative. A member of the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects (PALA), she was recognized for her contributions to the profession through her tenure as a Public Servant, where she aimed to create positive impacts on the environment and the people of Zamboanga.

Landscape Architect Vic Lopez Dul-loog is the Managing Partner of SGS Designs Landscape Architecture. He finished both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the College of Architecture of the University of the Philippines. He has been practicing since 1998 covering different typologies in landscape design, landscape master planning, and ecological landscape design.

Currently, he is a board member of the UP College of Architecture Alumni Foundation (UPCAAFI). He is also one of the official delegates of the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects to the International Federation of Landscape Architects-Asia Pacific Region (IFLA-APR). Vic is recognized as an awardee of the BCI Asia Green House, IFLA-Asia Pacific Region Design Excellence, NCCA Ani ng Dangal for his works on the National River Park Corridor in New Clark City and in 2022, he was recognized as the Professional Regulation Commission’s Outstanding Professional of the Year for Landscape Architecture.

Airo is a landscape architect with a decade of experience in the field. They are currently working in real estate and possess a diverse portfolio that includes designing specialty gardens and landscape areas. Notably, Airo played a key role in the creation of the butterfly garden and pavilion at Manila Zoo, showcasing a unique blend of creativity and sustainability. Outside of professional endeavors, Airo is passionate about pole fitness and collage making, finding balance and inspiration through these artistic and physical pursuits. Airo has also facilitated several PALA-kwento episodes, an initiative of PALA that fosters a venue of casual discussion about anything related to the profession
