IFLA-APR organises the prestigious AAPME Awards every two years to showcase the outstanding achievements of landscape architects from Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East (AAPME). These awards not only recognise design excellence but also spotlight those dedicated to sustainable, responsible practices. The AAPME Awards honor the creative solutions and visionary efforts that address today's global challenges and prepare for tomorrow's evolving demands.


This year, Singapore has the honor of hosting the IFLA-APR AAPME 2024 Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony, where we will celebrate the awardees and mark the incorporation of IFLA-APR Limited in Singapore. Themed "Landscape Beyond Borders," this exclusive event provides a unique chance to connect with industry leaders and peers in a lively, inspiring atmosphere.

Final Call: Early Bird Pricing Extended – Limited Seats Remaining!

Due to numerous requests, we are offering a final extension of the Early Bird Pricing for Award Winner tickets, IFLA APR Corporate Member tickets, and Group tickets (10 pax) until Tuesday, 22nd October.


Please note that this is the last opportunity to benefit from these discounted rates. No further extensions will be granted.


Currently, over 65% of seats have been booked, with only 35% remaining. Due to venue limitations, we cannot accommodate additional attendees once these seats are filled.

Judging Process Update

Additional Key Events during the IFLA-APR AAPME 2024 Week

In addition to the IFLA-APR AAPME 2024 Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. we are excited to offer attendees several other key events during the same week:


1. IFLA-APR Annual General Meeting 2024 (Hybrid)

*This is a closed event for the official delegates and observers of IFLA APR National Societies only. If you wish to participate in the IFLA APR Annual General Meeting 2024, please reach out to your national society.


2. The Professional Practice and Policy Forum 2024 (In-Person)

*This event is now open not only to official delegates and PPP professionals of IFLA APR National Societies, but we are also opening a limited number of seats for additional attendees and the public, including landscape architects, policymakers, environmental organizations, and professional bodies dedicated to promoting sustainability and improving professional standards within the landscape architecture field. To register, please select the Professional Practice and Policy Forum 2024 ticket from here. Registration is complimentary.


3. Technical Site Tour - In Person

  • Date: Saturday, November 16th, 204
  • Time: 9:00 AM (GMT+8) – Singapore
  • Location: To be confirmed
  • Registration: If you wish to attend, please include this in your travel planning. The registration link will be shared once the location is confirmed.

Judging Process Update: Stage 1 Concluded, Stage 2 in Progress

We are pleased to announce that Stage 1 of the judging process has concluded. Emails have been sent to notify those who received an Honorable Mention. Additionally, those who have advanced to Stage 2, where the final awards for Excellence or Outstanding Achievement will be determined, have also been informed.


Stage 2 judging is currently in progress and is expected to conclude by October 18. The winners in each category will be announced at the Gala Dinner.
